He’s the one, I’m sure of it,

I’m his too, things seem to fit.

Lovers quarrel or liar’s apparel?

Our love was so ephemeral.

I gave my everything till the very last,

He turned away from my tears, his eyes aghast.

I hate him now, maybe that’s what love is about,

I was surer of him than myself, no doubts,

Now I realise he did it all for clout,

I seriously hate liars and lovers.

Thinking of him, sends down shivers.
